《影片簡介》

Chris Gardner is a bright andtalented, but marginally employed salesman. Struggling to make ends meet, Gardner finds himself and his five-year-old son evictedfrom their San Franciscoapartment with nowhere to go. When Gardnerlands an internship at a prestigious stock brokerage firm, he and his sonendure many hardships, including living in shelters, in pursuit of his dream ofa better life for the two of them.

故事描述一個單親爸爸，因為事業失敗窮途潦倒到無家可歸，卻還得擔起撫養兒子的重擔。為了兒子的未來，他重新振作，處處向機會敲門，終於皇天不負苦心人，最後成為一個成功的投資專家。而過程中支持他咬緊牙關的最大動力，除了寶貝兒子外，就是他始終相信：只要今天夠努力，幸福明天就會來臨…

《推薦原因》

Ithink this movie impressed me the most is that the protagonist still braces up insuch a difficult position. This is part is rare to see in this society. For hisson, the protagonist makes his effort to seize any chance to make them have abetter life from this distress. What so-called "happiness" is asmeant as title, it has to be pursued by your own. In my opinion, I think onlywhen you do your best to grasp the thing you want can you achieve the goal. Andif you don’t seize it or pursue it aggressively, it will always get lost. Afterall, chance is given to someone who hasbeen ready.

我覺得這部電影最讓我感動的地方在於主角在處於低潮，還能再站起來這點，是在現在社會中難得可見的。為了兒子，主角在沉潛中仍舊咬緊牙關不放棄任何機會，追求著所有能夠讓父子倆過上平定生活的時機。我認為所謂「幸福」是要如片名所述，自己去追求的。很多事物如果不靠自己的雙手去抓住、去追求的，便會隨時失去；時機是給予有所準備、有所努力的人。
