Annie and Hallie were twins who had been separated at birth because of their parent’s (Nick and Elizabeth) divorce. They didn’t know each other until the meet in the summer camp. Though they were fervent rivals at first and then produced imaginative mischief; however, they discovered they were twin sisters when they had to be segregated from other kids and only be with each other for the punishment by making such mischief. Wishing to see each parent they never met, Annie and Hallie planed to switch their status and try to find out the reason why their parent divorced or reunite them. The plan was success yet Annie met her father’s fiancé (Meredith) and knew he’s getting married soon. So Annie and Hallie did all they can to break up the engagement. Nevertheless their parents knew the twins’ purpose, and having the same opinion- against resuming their relationship; the twins disliked this idea and then they played tricks on Meredith, who becomes enraged and insists that Nick choose between her and his daughters. The engagement was break, but Elizabeth still took Annie home, though she had a change of heart. When they get home, they find Hallie and Nick, who have flown there on the Concorde and are waiting for them. Elizabeth fearfully questions the wisdom of getting back together, but gradually gives in to Nick's confidence, and Annie and Hallie look on happily as Nick and Elizabeth embrace.
安妮和荷莉是一對雙胞胎，但是他們在出生不久後，父母便離婚而被分開撫養，且完全不知道彼此的存在。某年暑假，安妮和荷莉碰巧都參加了同一個夏令營。一開始，兩人視彼此為敵人，但某次他們在對對方惡作劇之後，輔導員將他們隔離且要求他們住在同一間寢室，他們便很快發現彼此的身世秘密。之後，他們計畫在夏令營結束時交換彼此的身份，去見他們無法相見的父母親。此計畫相當的成功。荷莉喬裝成安妮，去到了英國看見她的母親，而安妮則喬裝荷哈莉，去了加州見到了素未謀面的父親，之後卻發現父親即將再婚，安妮便趕緊通知荷莉，加快撮合父母破鏡重圓的計畫。雖然之後尼克與伊莉莎白都知道女兒們的意圖，然而他們認為就算她們費盡心力，他們不可能重修舊好；因此他們計畫讓他們回到原來的家庭，隔一段時間互相見面。安妮和哈莉不贊成父母的做法，仍是想辦法破壞尼克與梅爾蒂絲的婚約─她們捉弄梅爾蒂絲，使得梅爾蒂絲氣得要求尼克必須選邊站──女兒或婚姻。最後尼克選擇了女兒，哈利與安妮都鬆了一口氣，相信他們的父母將會重逢，但伊莉莎白堅持安妮必須跟她一起返回倫敦。當伊莉莎白和安妮抵達他們倫敦的家時，發現尼克和荷莉早已火速趕抵英國，在那迎接他們。尼克向伊莉莎白告白，表示後悔當初讓她離開他的身邊，且發誓這種情況不會再發生。

The reason I want to introduce this film is that I think the plot is funny, warm, and the cast play well, too. The twins are so impressive, especially the tricks they played. Although the tricks are such relentless, however I think the twins are still lovely.
