昨日重現(Yesterday Once More)　　　　木匠兄妹合唱團

When I was young  在我還年幼的時候

I’d listened to the radio   我總聽著收音機

Waitin’ for my favorite songs    等待著我最喜愛的歌

Waiting they played I’d sing along   當旋律響起   我就跟著輕哼

It made me smile  這樣的時光使我開懷


Those were such happy times  那是一段幸福的時光

And not so long ago  在不久以前

How I wondered where they’d gone  當我還懷疑這段時光何以消失了

But they’re back again    但他們又回來了

Just like a long lost friend   就好像失去已久的朋友

All the songs I loved so well   所有的歌我還是那麼喜歡

Lookin’ back on how it was  回首過去的日子

In years gone by  好多年過去了

And the good times that I had  而我曾擁有最好的時光

Makes today seem rather sad  使我的現在不再傷心

So much has changed   雖然物換星移



It was songs of love that   那仍然是我會唱的愛的歌

I would sing to then

And I’d memorize each word  而我還記得每一字句

Those old melodies 那些老的旋律

Still sound so good to me  在我聽來仍如此美妙

As they melt the years away  就如同化在經年的時光中

推薦原因:小的時候沒有MP3，電腦，Ipod這麼多容易取得音樂的硬體。躺在床上，打開收音機，聽到喜歡的音樂很開心地用錄音帶錄下來。

如今音樂下載軟體氾濫，音樂隨處可得，可是那份感動無法取代!小時候不懂歌詞內容，卻很喜歡她的旋律，哼哼唱唱到長大，慢慢咀嚼出歲

月的痕跡，是那麼令人懷念。

介紹:

THE CARPNTERS兩兄妹 出生於美國康乃狄克州New Haven, Connecticut, 1963舉家遷居 加州-洛杉磯郊區 道尼Downey, California;

哥哥全名Richard Lynn Carpenter,出生日期1946.10.15 ; 1984.05.19. 與Mary Rudolf成婚, 育有3女 2男;

妹妹全名Karen Anne Carpenter,出生日期 1950.03.02.; 1980.08.31.下嫁房地產商人 Thomas James Burris;1981.11.分居; 1983.02.04.就在要簽署離婚證書當日,因病(厭食,心臟無法負荷,…)過世,享年32歲;

1969.10.09.卡本特兄妹的第一張專輯Offering問世,銷售成績不佳, 其中THE BEATLES 的歌曲 Ticket To Ride較有名 ,1970.08.19.發行的第二張專輯Close To You 則是大放光芒,同名單曲Close To You登上billboard排行榜週冠軍,成為金唱片(RIAA統計銷售金額滿100萬美金),專輯中也有一首THE BEATLES的歌曲 Help;
Yesterday Once More 由 Richard Carpenter 及John Bettis(約翰貝帝斯,美國樂壇知名作詞家,Top of the world亦是出自他手.) 合作完成; Yesterday Once More寫作背景即~演唱者回憶 幼時守在收音機旁 聆聽美妙音樂之快樂情境,無其他特殊典故; 此曲當年也是金唱片,英美兩地排行榜僅及週亞軍,日本當地音樂排行榜是冠軍.
